I've been waiting to post until I could get some decent photos of her but so far, with all the rain we've had, it's been nearly impossible to get any outdoor shots.
Anyway - we adopted Mischa from a shelter near us. She definitely seems 100% pure Corso. We were told she's two, but we think she's younger. She was abused - she is only 75lbs and should be at least 90, and she has scars around her mouth where it was tied. We're thinking it possible someone bought her for fighting, and starved her to make her aggressive. She doesn't seem to have an aggressive bone in her body - they must have dumped her after they figured that out.
Crate training is a disaster, and she's not potty trained, but she's a sweetheart. She doesn't quite yet understand heights, as she has fallen off my bed twice in the middle of the night.

She has a very high prey drive but she is learning her commands very quickly. We will be getting her an e-collar to help with the prey drive, as we do want to be able to let here off leash.
After Jake died, we decided we wanted two Corsos, so they could keep each other company. I really wanted to be able to rescue one but we were both nervous about what we would get. We were definitely NOT planning on getting another dog so soon after Jake died but it made it a lot easier that we rescued her and that she's so sweet. Definitely helps heal the heart to see a dog so happy after all that she's been through.

Anyway, here are a few photos I took of her the last few days...they are not the best. If the sun ever shines again, I'll get some shots of her outside.
