we haven't put it at a grade - probably grade 2?
Sometimes it doesn't come up very often, but recently she's had a whole bunch of problems, and when it does, she seems to be in a lot of pain.  Often luxation has no pain at all so this seems serious.

Bella's crazy energy means 12 weeks of recovery is going to be near impossible.  Going 12 hours without running full-out and jumping 2 feet in the air is hard enough.

And I don't have 2k.  As it is, paying for Bella daycare is running through the savings I had put together for moving to a better apt.  Which means I'm stuck in the ghetto.....

I could go on and on about what a tragedy this is, for me, let alone for Bella.

I don't want to sound overdramatic but I get pretty emotional over all the stuff i have been thru with this poor dog.

probably as often as a corso!  Sad  i'm sorry morf.  what grade have they put her at now?  can you give us an update of what's happening (how often is it dislocating and how easily)?

just curious as this is what i went thru with lola.  i have a great vet here (conveniently right by seatac) who did an awesome job on lola's reconstruction.  total cost was around $2k.  recovery does take a full 12 wks, but it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be (especially if she is the only dog at home).

man Sad  this sucks.

Damn.

My problem child just keeps having more bad luck.

Her medial patellar luxation - how often has a Presa ever had that? - has been confirmed and become more severe.

We are looking at potentially expensive surgery and long recuperation.

So no adoption until this is sorted out.
