Whoever gets the male will be very lucky, he was a keeper for sure and hopefully the female will come around while in foster
I agree the male was great. He should adjust well in a new home. I hope someone can turn the female around, she was so nervous and scared.

I have a special place in my heart for blue heelers. Especially bat-eared guys like that one! He looks like the one I had-a lovely dog named Spike when I was in high school. ( but my neighbor purposely hit him while we were working cows. He was running down the road bring a cow back, and he schmucked him.

Not to completely Hijack this thread, but...are you planning on working your Aussie at all? Agility, herding, flyball or anything? They are great, intelligent dogs, but if they don't have a job they will make up their own,
, not always what we want either
Now back to our regular program;
Amanda if you do need anything for these sweet doggies please let us know. I will help out in what ever way I can!
Again thank you for the job you are doing, it truly takes a special kind of person!
Temp hijack again-probably just competitive obedience He is pretty quick-his breeder does the early neurological stimulation-he's 8 weeks today, and knows sit and stay already.
Of course that might be due to my stellar training skills
but in all likelihood it's the fact that he's smart.
I'm hoping he'll do dog 4H with my son-Cody is three, and I figure by the time he's ready for 4H at 7, Charlie will be in his prime and ready to be a good boy. I'm working on the theory too that one well trained dog helps train another. No ulterior motives there or anything...that could related to another, possibly harder headed breed...
I'm dipping my feet into raw feeding with him as well.
It's not that its hard, I overanalyze everything though-Ca:Ph, Iodine, so on and so forth.

We are also partial to Aussies here as well, our Stevie claims her dad is one, he snuck in to visit her Mom when everyone was not looking
We will also send money for transport etc for those 2 beautiful CC's when homes are found..

Re: 2 corsos in Indy shelter need foster or adopted!!
My first dog when I moved out of my parents home was an Aussie, she was a merle and an awesome dog! We lived in the country and had a few cows for her to work (thank god), as she was from working lines and a busy lil girl Pi dog was.
So I too am partial to them, although not perhaps in the same way as Cahhhly
