I didn't like Jax's ears at first, had trouble getting them to stand.  But I think they are perfect now!

Just wanted to update this thread.  We had the ears done at Noah's Ark Animal Hospital.  Dr. Mike Lies did the crop.  He does several corso breeders and is very good and very reasonable.  I think the crop itself was $138.  I would definitely recommend them and use them in the future.  It was worth the drive!

Thanks everyone!  I will check out Tony's dogs.

Thanks Amy!  I'm not set on the vet in Cincinnati.  I just know that I really like the crop on Darrel's dogs.

No problem Smiley Did you get the PM I sent you a few days ago about cropping? Just wanted to be sure it went through. IDK why I was thinking you were in Cinci. Try contacting Cherubs Cane Corso (Jeff Hall) I know he uses the same vet as Darrell.
I did get your PM.  Sorry I didn't reply, I have had a migraine that won't quit so I have not been thinking clearly!  Between the pain and the meds I have been  insane  Thanks again for the info.  I will try contacting Cherubs!

it is sooo hard to find a good crop vet. they used to look at me like i was crazy when i would draw on the ear prior to surgery to ensure i had them done the way I wanted it to be done.

good luck and will keep my ears / eyes open if i happen to run across that info.

Tony is way north in the Cleveland area, I'd imagine he uses a vet close to him. In Columbus I have used Dr. Turley at Hamilton Road Animal Hospital: http://www.hamiltonrdanimalhospital.com/

There's also Dr. Sam Grant: http://www.earcropping-drsamgrant.com/about_me/default.html Although he tends to do Doberman more than Corsos.

Hope that helps!

I am not sure if they are close to Cincinnati but you might want to contact Tony Scandy to see which vet he uses.

Does anyone know a good vet for ear crop in Cincinnati?  I know Darrel from Mad River has his dogs done at a vet in Cincinnati.  I have tried to contact him to find out who he uses but I haven't had any luck.  Does anyone know who he uses?  Or does anyone know of a good vet in the area?
