Re: King needs a foster or forever home!!
What a horrible human being! I don't know how people can do stuff like that. The stress of the kennel, and not having an owner, can be too much for a lot of dogs, esp. Corsi. Well there will be others that you can save.
I wish there was more I could do, but now that I live in BSL-ville.....

That is so tragic. Hugs to you Amanda for doing so much to help the dogs. We can't save them all.
Thanks Morf. I know we can't but it doesn't make it any less painful. King really got me, as Tasha said, he was so close to having a home. I found out that his owner dropped him off and said he was a stray.
He was such a nice dog. I was told that he became aggressive. Too much time in the kennel can make them lose it and I guess after a month he couldn't take anymore.

Re: King needs a foster or forever home!!
King is no longer available. He was euthanized on 04-11-11. I was on leave when it happened. I found out a few days after the fact. I had located a friend of his original owner who wanted him, I called to work to let them know and was given the news.
RIP beautiful boy

King needs a foster or forever home!!
King is currently at my shelter, his hold time is up tomorrow at end of business. He is microchipped but we have been unable to contact his owner due to outdated information. He is a 5 yr old neutered male. He has not yet been temperment tested. Today I took him outside, we think he may be housebroken, and he walks very well on a leash. His ears are cropped but he does have a full tail. I walked him past some dogs outside and his hackles went up but he ignored them. He went over to the fence and sniffed one of the dogs and wagged. He really seemed indifferent to them. After about 10 minutes with him I decided I was going to clip his front nails, they were so long they were starting to curl under. A volunteer held him and I clipped. He did amazing! He wagged at everyone and really was just happy to have some attention. I think he would make a great dog for someone! He seems like a big lover
If you know of anyone interested, or any rescues please let me know ASAP. The weather is getting warm and the shelter is overflowing already. I will let you know how he does on his temperment test. I know he gets an A+ on handling in my book
Sorry for the picture quality! I took the pics with my crappy work camera and I was holding King while taking them!
