Some board cleaning had just taken place. I have deleted about a hundred members that have been inactive for more than 180 days or have yet to make their first posts.
We have some new policies to enhance the security of the board and those are as follows:
- new members have 5 days to intro themselves...but thinking of making it 48 hrs. [would like you opinions on this]
- all members not active in the last 180 days [6 months] accounts are DELETED
- members that have been active for w/in the last 180 days [visit ever few months to read] accounts may be suspended and reviewed for participation.
We have undergone some possible hacking attempts this last week and I am of course am tired of trying to catch and fix things and figured it would be best to keep even closer tabs on members participation and new members that register but never intro themselves.
