Here's a few pics I got today of Noodles and his pal Tela in the exercise area. They didn't want to play much because it was really hot today.

Just a tiny update on Noodles, he's still waiting for a home. Noodles is dog friendly, and he has a friend named Tela who is a female shepherd mix, and they love to play together! He was recently neutered though, so we haven't been able to let them play for a bit, have to wait for Noodles to heal! When they can play together again, I'll try to get some pics.
Noodles thinks everyone is his best friend, and we're a little surprised nobody has applied for him yet. But I'm sure somebody will fall in love with him eventually, because he's just awesome.

hmm, I dont know. In most of the pics he looks pit mix wit maybe lab but the last 3 pics, he's too wet thru the chin/jowls for a lab pit and does look a bit corso-ish. I hope he finds a nice home (and is neutered
)
Haha don't worry, if he's not neutered this week, he'll probably be done next week. We don't adopt out intact dogs, its sort of against the state law in VA, for one thing.
Thanks for the opinions. I suppose he could be part APBT, but he's huge, over 100lbs, so I think he must have something mastiffy in there! He nearly broke my nose today bashing his big head into my face. Silly big doggies with their overenthusiastic cuddling.

He is a cutie, I hope he finds a great home. I would venture to say more than likely he is a pit mix. I don't really see any corso myself, but it is so hard to tell in mixed dogs.

Noodles - Male (possible) Cane Corso mix NoVA, MD, DC area
So I volunteer (and now work on the staff during the week) for a no-kill dog and cat rescue shelter called Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA). Recently Noodles was pulled from Prince George's County Animal Care and Control. I believe him to be at least part Cane Corso, but some other volunteers don't think so. I thought I'd post him here for your opinions. Noodles is young, probably about 6 months old, and extremely friendly with all people he has met (not sure about kids, they would probably be knocked to the ground and covered in slobber). Noodles seems a bit TOO friendly for a guardian breed, but I suppose that could be due in part to him still being a puppy. Noodles has not shown any DA, he seems to want to play with other dogs, and he is not leash reactive, he actually walks pretty well on leash. He is SO sweet, and loves to kiss you all over. He's a great big love, and I'm smitten with him.
(Can't take him home though, can't afford another dog at this point). I'm not even sure what to call his color, or even if Corsi can come in a dark, dark chocolately type color. For information on adopting, please go to
www.foha.org
On to pics!
